Tokyo Revengers is a Japanese sci-fi action thriller anime TV series. It is an adaptation of Ken Wakui’s manga series of the same title. Liden Films animated the first 24-episode season of the series. Its premiere episode came out on April 11, 2021, whereas its season finale landed on the screens on September 19, 2021. In the ending moments of the first season, Takemichi returned to the present timeline and managed to become one of the top admins of Toman. However, Kisaki, who was the acting leader of the gang, abducted him and Chifuyu. By the end, Kiskai killed Chifuyu, and he pointed his gun at Takemichi, and then the screens went black before the viewers heard the gunshot. It felt like Kisaki killed Takemichi as well. However, it won’t happen as someone will come to the aid of our Crybaby Hero. The guy who saves Hanagaki will be none other than Kazutora. After that, he will tell everything about the present to Toman to Takemichi, and then the latter will return to the past again that will kick off the Blach Dragon Arc.
Tokyo Revengers Season 2 will feature the members of Toman ending up in a conflict against Black Dragons. It is a gang that Mikey’s late brother founded. The captain of the Black Dragons is an elder brother Hakkai. His name is Taiju Shiba, and he is extremely powerful. Takemichi, Chifuyu, Hanma, and Kisaki will create a plan to defeat Taiju. However, Kisaki and Hanma will betray the gang. Fortunately, Mitsuya will come to the aid of our protagonist.
Tokyo Revengers Season 2: Release Date
The makers are yet to announce the sequel of this show officially. But it is likely that it will happen by the end of this year or early next year. Also, the chances are great the production studio won’t make its fans wait for very long, especially after a cliffhanger like this one.
