Now the new mom has shed light on the reason why she still goes by the name ‘Rock’ even after her marriage. Hence, she should technically go by ‘Isabel Roloff’.
In fact, fans have been in confusion about this as her surname varies from her brother. That’s because the latter uses the name, Garretson. Therefore, everyone from the fanbase has been in doubt about where ‘Rock’ originated from. Now TV Season & Spoilers reports that the celebrity has finally addressed the matter. Through her Instagram stories, she revealed that ‘Rock’ is her mother’s “maiden name”. Unfortunately, she is no more, and the TLC star wanted to honor her. Thus, she uses her name publicly. Later on, Isabel also posted an old picture of her mom with her uncle from the 70s. In fact, she called them a “couple of bada**es” in her post. Then, the Oregon native admitted using their last name as her own to be “cool” like them.
However, the 25-year-old admitted to having a different name on her birth certificate. On the said document, she goes by ‘Isabel Garretson’. Eventually, after marriage, the ex-TV personality became part of the Roloff family and officially goes by ‘Isabel Sofia Roloff’. Despite this, she feels more comfortable going by Isabel Sofia Rock to honor her mother.
LPBW: Isabel Remembers Her Later Mother On Christmas
Time and again, Isabel Roloff has continued to mention how attached she used to be to her mother, Toni Rock. Unfortunately, tragedy hit their family when she lost her mother in 2014 after the latter’s battle with breast cancer. Therefore, the former star continues to share her experience with neverending grief and makes peace with it on her social media. Moreover, she also made a wholesome post remembering her loved one on Christmas 2021.
Isabel took a trip down memory lane and talked about her “Christmas miracle” from 2014. Unluckily her mother was in the hospital owing to her ailing health. Hence, the little 18-year-old daughter really wished for her mom to be home for the holiday season. Eventually, the Roloff family member got what she wanted. Later on, she also appreciated the medical staff who work tirelessly on holidays to ensure all the patients are safe. Thus, the ex-TLC star referred to them as “angels”.
