Since the second installment of Deadpool in 2018, fans are wandering over the internet to get even the single detail about its next run. Though Deadpool 3 did not receive renewal till now, things seem pretty solid regarding the third installment of the crazy superhero franchise. And some recent updates also came in relating the star of the series, Ryan Reynolds.
Deadpool 3 in Process
Our bad-mouth superhero, Deadpool, will be back soon with its third installment. As per the reports, screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are preparing a script for a new movie featuring Reynolds as the titular star. The film has not received an official renewal by Marvel Studios yet. However, writers confirmed that there would be Deadpool, and he will continue in the R-rated universe that they’ve created.
Deadpool In Marvel Cinematic Universe
With the recent merger of Disney and Fox Studios, rumors started spreading that Deadpool could make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The fans started thinking about how this foul-mouthed superhero will fit amongst our classy superheroes. However, on that note, the writers insisted that there is a lot to be sorted out, how Deadpool fits into the Marvel Universe with the other characters of the MCU, before shooting on the third movie can begin. In a talk with Den Of Geek, Wernick told that they are just waiting for the word from on high.
After the big merger, rumors started that Disney would restrain the foul-mouthed hero, and end the Rated-R comic book films. To that, Disney CEO Bob Iger cleared that the merc with a mouth should stay the same and be adult-orientated.
Ryan Reynolds Trolling Marvel
Star Ryan Reynolds has always been up from his chair for trolling Marvel, even before Disney acquired Fox. Recently, the actor trolled fans again by posting on Instagram a photo of him taken at Marvel Studios. There, he went to audition for the role of Anthony Stark before being escorted out of the building. He also teased that the savage superhero might not arrive until sometime in Phase 5.
Ryan Renolds In Other Projects
Our Deadpool star is one of the busiest actors in the industry. With his next movie, 6 Underground incoming, Reynolds is also ready to feature in a project with his friend John Krasinski. Krasinski will write, direct and star in along with Reynolds. And Reynolds will co-star and produce the Paramount project, which is titled, Imaginary Friends.
Also, Apple earlier paid a reasonable loot price to land on a comedic and musical interpretation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Reynolds will headline that project opposite, Will Ferrell. And not to forget, he will also star in Free Guy, Shawn Levy’s adventure comedy for Fox/Disney. With these lots of projects, it seems quite hard for the star to pull time to shoot for the next Deadpool movie.
Deadpool 3: Release Date
The first Deadpool movie came in February 2016, followed by its second run in May 2018. With that format, the third installment should’ve arrived by mid-2020. However, this does not seem feasible in recent times. May be Deadpool 3 arrive by the end of 2020 or in 2021.
