The Disney fans are desperate to know every teeny tiny news about the upcoming movie Descendants 3. The final installment of the movie series is about to reach the audience since the movie series opted for a trilogy.
A teaser trailer for the movie released months ago, and there hasn’t been any update for the film since then. However, a musical dance video recently released which, obviously excited and filled its fans with enthusiasm one more time. Disney also released the official premiere date for Descendants 3.
Descendants 3: New Music Video Released
Disney Music recently released a music video from the film on Youtube. In the video, Evie, Mal, Jay, and Carlos are displaying their signature moves as they are singing their hearts out with the new music “Its Good to be Bad.”
The video featured the VKs from Auradon Prep, headed back to the Isle of the Lost to gather a new class of students to join them, before they head back to school. The video is full of enchanting colors and dancing all around.
What Will Happen In The Upcoming Movie?
As the entity of characters till now has only been the descendants of known evil Disney villains like Maleficent, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil, all of them will prove that there is more to their ancestry than being antagonists.
Mal (Dove Cameron), the daughter of Maleficent, Evie (Sofia Carson), the daughter of the Evil Queen, Carlos (Cameron Boyce), the son of Cruella De Vil, and Jay (Booboo Stewart), the son of Jafar will frolic through the Isle. Their purpose will be gathering some of their friends whose apples fell far from the tree, including Dizzy Tremaine, daughter of Drizilla Tremaine (Anna Cathcart) and step-niece of Cinderella.
Moreover, the third movie will also introduce Dr. Facilier, played by Jamal Sims. Also, there will be Hades, who will turn out to be Mal’s father. Cheyenne Jackson will portray the role of Mal’s father. The audience will see Mal uniting with her dad, which would be pretty emotional for everybody. Along with that, there will be a sleeping spell concealing all over Auradon. However, the spell will break only by using Hades’ ember.
Here, the fans can expect to have more music and see their favorite characters sing and dance along the way. Booboo Stewart, who plays Jay, told in an interview that he dance sequences are beautiful, vast, and grand. He also admitted that Descendants 3 is the hardest film he has done for the franchise when it comes to dancing.
Descendants 3 Release Date
Disney Studios recently released the release date for the threequel. The upcoming Disney musical will Premiere on Disney Channel on August 2, 2019. Till then stay tuned for the updates.
