The TLC stars will be using their sassy and witty personalities to bring some spice to the TV screens. Over the years, the network has come up with new series and shows to highlight the challenges of the plus-size community. However, Jaz and Nesha’s stories are a bit different from others.
They went from complete strangers to friends and roommates. The newbie stars love each other like sisters and faced similar health challenges. Hence, Jaz and Nesha will document all the new hurdles they will face to shed the excess pounds. They appear to have even experienced some near-death experiences during their journey. What was it? Jaz and Nesha will grace the TV screens soon to feature their weight loss journeys on 1000 Lb Roomies. The best friends weigh a little more than 1000 pounds and make some serious decisions in life. In the teaser, Jaz received bad news from her doctor. She learnt that she won’t be around for long if she won’t take her health seriously.
The reality TV star stated, “And it scared me because of my daughter. I have a 10-year-old daughter, and my daughter has autism.” Jaz felt nobody could take care of her daughter like her and took her wake-up call seriously. She decided to shed the extra pounds to qualify for the procedure. Meanwhile, Nesha wasn’t ready to join her bestie on the journey. She wanted to focus more on a lifestyle change and take the normal route.
1000 Lb Roomies: Jaz & Nesha Share Near-Death Experience With Fans
Jaz and Nesha face so many challenges because of their weight issues. Still, they keep their inner child alive and use their sarcasm to stay happy. The newbie stars entertain viewers in the teasers with their craziness. Recently, Nesha was talking about her decision to take the natural route. She didn’t want to get under the knife and wanted a better lifestyle.
Hence, Jaz noted, “It’s definitely a lot of silliness” before revealing how Nesha almost killed her. She explained, “Nesha tried to push me in a wheelchair and almost made me fall out.” Nesha revealed she was only trying to stay stronger than she was. She just had a false sense of confidence that she could do that.
Jaz revealed she “almost died” because of her friend’s experiment. The 1000 Lb Roomies chatted with Parade to talk about their upcoming series. Nesha was grateful to have an opportunity from TLC. She was grateful that the network gave her and her friend a chance, especially as black women. The reality TV star feels their stories are powerful.
