1000 Lb Sisters star Amy went for wedding dress shopping with her siblings and friend Lee Lee. But she learned what dresses Brittany and Misty wore to their respective weddings. Amy married for the second time. But this time, it seemed like she wouldn’t settle for anything negative or less. Amy has gothic glam in her mind, so she would pick something that suits the wedding theme and vibes.
She wanted the venue to be haunted-centric from the first day. She was trying to score Waverly Hills Sanatorium with Brian. But they changed their plans at the last moment because neither her family nor the staff at their sanatorium agreed to it. With much disappointment, they decided to go to Talbott Tavern even though they were happy to find it.
Amy channeled her artistic trait in her wedding look. On 1000 Lb Sisters Season 8, she shared how she planned her DIY wedding day, which was based on taxidermy. She said she chose fake taxidermy, and her creative pieces would be made of plastic. She proudly showed her artworks to the wedding planner, Kelly, over a video call.
Amy flaunted her plastic crab in a gold-painted shell. Even though the reality star got praised, Kelly reminded her that it’s not real taxidermy. She agreed and went on to be excited about making animal horns and heads. The reality star stated that she wasn’t into cats and dogs but into butterflies and bigs. She was aware that her taxidermy was meant to represent an aesthetic yet gothic look to all her wedding guests and family.
In a new clip from 1000 Lb Sisters Season 8, Amy shared a ride with Brittany and Misty as Misty drove the car. Amy, from the back seat, asked what they wore on their wedding day and how they got their hands into them. For the ultimate shock, Amy found out that her sister-in-law had picked her dress from someone selling theirs.
Brittany tried on the white gown at the seller’s house. After liking it, she purchased it. While her story sounded great, Misty did things differently. She married her man in a t-shirt and sweatpants. She didn’t seem to regret her decision, so she gladly talked about it, making Brittany smile.
However, Amy wanted to carry out her second marriage in a way she always felt. She shared that her first marriage to her ex, Michael, was when she was heavier. She revealed that she had to wear a burlap tater sack, which sounded quite funny to say the least. She seemed prouder of losing weight than what she was.
The new episode of the show already showed Amy looking for the perfect wedding dress. She even described her dream wedding in more than three words. She then listed celebrities who have inspired her to be fat but own up to herself. The TLC star shared how she wanted her dress to have black accents with mostly white.
