She got married to her high school sweetheart back in March 2019. They had been together for four years before tying the knot. Now, after eight years of togetherness, Amy and Michael Halterman have decided to separate. Initially, it was said that the former wanted to exit her marriage. The reason was assumed to be her husband’s lack of parenting skills and an interest in making efforts for his family.
However, there are chances that might not be the case. This is because a report by TheSun reveals that it was Michael who filed for divorce on March 13, 2023, as per Kentucky court documents. In fact, the reason for the same is also out. As per the mentioned report, Halterman didn’t want his kids to appear on television anymore. But, Amy allegedly was against this and wanted her children, Gage and Glenn, to keep doing the show. There are chances that this was the reason Michael decided to leave Amy. He was also unhappy when his wife left their house and took their sons with her.
