1000 Lb Sisters: Slatons To Return For Two More Seasons! No More Amy?
Tammy and Amy have become household names after depicting their weight loss journey on the show. Both of them have a lot going on in their lives. While Tammy is solely focused on weight loss and is in rehab, her sister Amy is now busy with her two beautiful baby boys, Gage and Glenn. Despite this, TLC has not shed light on announcing more seasons of their adventures. However, Thesun claims that a source close to Tammy Slaton has spilled major beans. Apparently, the TV network is currently shooting its fifth season with the Slaton family.
However, Amy Slaton won’t appear in 1000 Lb Sisters Season 5. She will be “stepping out of the spotlight” as the latest season will solely focus on Tammy Slaton’s journey. The younger sister mentioned in a previous interview that she would quit the show if the producers didn’t cut her hours. Unfortunately, she had been feeling like a “bad mom”. Hence, her priority right now is to spend as much time with her baby boys, Glenn and Gage.
Tammy Slaton’s friend said they aren’t worried about TLC canceling the show even if Amy eventually quits. That’s because they believe Tammy has the “potential to go solo,” just like Honey Boo Boo! With this, the elder sister also has plans to release a book about her weight loss journey and promote body positivity.

It makes sense why TLC would want the latest season to focus solely on Tammy Slaton. In the first three seasons, she has been the least improved star. She ended up gaining instead of losing weight. But things began to look up after she went to a specialized weight loss rehab. A lot of incredible changes happened in their life.
