Hence, the 1000 Lb Sisters celeb decided to do everything under the sun, and she really wanted to live. Apparently, because of Tammy’s determination, her life has started to change now.
She no longer needs her oxygen cylinder, which was once her best friend. Tammy had been using it for the last 15 years to breathe but doesn’t need it anymore. During a recent episode, the celeb happily revealed that she no longer feels trapped. Tammy explained that initially, she used an oxygen cylinder because her lungs couldn’t pump easily.
Apparently, because of Tammy’s weight, her lungs didn’t have enough space to “open up” and “pump” air. But as she has dropped a significant amount of pounds and isn’t that “big” anymore, her lungs are able to do their job properly. Tammy appeared to be proud as she went for a pedicure session without her oxygen cylinder.
Tammy admitted to the cameras that she doesn’t feel like a “dog” tied to the pole. She proudly stated with a big smile that she doesn’t have a “leash” around her anymore. 1000 Lb Sisters fans were overjoyed as god finally answered Tammy’s prayers, and it was a great milestone for her.

Tammy took her weight loss journey seriously and went from 717 Lbs to 448 Lbs within no time. These numbers were from August 2023. But it appears that the celeb is continuously progressing and still losing weight as well. Several sources recently confirmed that Tammy has shed more pounds, and her current numbers are unbelievably great.
A source close to Tammy revealed that Tammy is around 300 Lbs now. It explained that she showed the exact numbers in her court records of marijuana and drug paraphernalia cases. Hence, it is clear that the celeb has lost around 400 Lbs during her journey.
