She has undergone a remarkable transformation, one that is far more than just a change in her appearance. What did she talk about the gastric sleeve?
1000 Lb Sisters: Tammy’s Long-Time Goal Was Skin Removal!
Walking around with heavy excess skin for Tammy Slaton was nearly choking her up, so she set her eyes on skin removal surgery. The longest dream she could see was one where she had no jaw, and bat skin was dropping downwards from her arms. After the surgery took place in January of this year, she made multiple public appearances without any shyness.
Tammy’s immobility issues have lessened, but still, some fans spotted that her legs have not been operated on since she has loose skin down there. Even though the reality star might go for a second skin removal, she will take more recovery time. Between surgeries, a 13- to 15-month gap is necessary for the results to appear correctly and for the patient to recover fully. She further hoped to undergo BBL, knee replacement, teeth implants, and other procedures in the future.
1000 Lb Sisters: Tammy Explains Her First Weight Loss Surgery Experience!
Tammy Slaton finally detailed how it was to undergo gastric bypass sleeve surgery for the first time and what results it gives. During her recent appearance on the Creative Chaos podcast with Hunter Ezell, she stated that she silently suffered as much as he did. While she seemed happy with her successful weight loss through skin removal, she is also thankful for the first surgery.
Through a gastric bypass sleeve in 2020, Tammy shed almost half of her body weight. However, most people are unaware of what comes with it. Hunter shared that he was unable to finish his meal in one sitting, having last had it back in 2018. Whenever he told people, they asked him back if he was sure he was eating all his food.
Unfortunately, the phase of recovery from gastric bypass was quite physically challenging for Hunter. Hearing him, Tammy quickly recalled her state of displeasure with the whole concept. She remembered her post-operative diet, which consisted of liquids. She called them nasty because such protein would make her feel sick.
Tammy revealed that milk was not something she liked much. For the TLC star, protein powder is a big no. It’s important to understand that she had been put on a high-calorie diet weeks before the surgery and also after that. She also consumed her favorite foods, such as soda and noodles.
