Remembering the loss of a beloved family member. In the recent episode of 1000 Lb Sisters, Amy Slaton and her family gave a memorable tribute to their dog, Lil Bit. Amy and her husband Michael had several customized things that had Little Bit’s picture on them. Blankets, pillows, and two of the dog’s portraits. Michael adopted the furry friend when his father died 15 years ago. And Amy has been living with her for the past five years. In the episode, Micheal had a service for his dog and also installed a tombstone in her memorial. The tombstone says, “in his heart” Amy said that she used to call her “daughter.” The couple then recalled the memories that they shared with Little Bit. She was always there, from Amy and Micheal’s wedding to the birth of their first child.
However, Micheal invited all his friends and family to the closure ceremony. The couple said they want their kids to grow around a pet but are not planning to have a puppy soon. The 1000 Lb Sisters star, Tammy Slaton, was also attached to Amy’s dog. Although she was not present at the funeral, but she attended it through a video call. Tammy used to call her Little Bit “girlfriend.” On April 12, 2022, Amy shared the news of her dog’s death through her Instagram handle. She uploaded a picture of her furry friend sitting on a couch. She wrote, “Rip little bit. I love you so much”. However, according to Amy, Little Bit was 22 years old when she died.

When Little Bit first featured on the show, viewers enjoyed watching her. Like every other family member, she was equally an essential member. Recently, fans saw how Tammy was sad with the passing of Amy’s dog. She was not attentive in her therapy session. Amy said they took her to the vet for what they called allergies. the vet then did the X-ray and blood test and found out that she had lung cancer.
