In one of the previous episodes of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After!, she was seeking medical assistance for weight loss surgery. Well, she ended up having five surgeries that could’ve turned out to be very dangerous for her body. Amid all this, there was another thing that was harmful to her well-being.
Before her surgery, doctors warned Angela that smoking before the procedure could be fatal for her. Yet, in another episode, which viewers thought was annoying and hilarious at the same time, she was found doing just that. Her doctors found a pack of cigarettes hidden in her top. Even though the situation was very serious, Deem just laughed it off and was playful as the doctors showed their concerns. Fans thought that this incident could stop Angela, but they were all wrong.

Despite the initial warnings and the embarrassing incident of getting caught with a pack of cigarettes, Angela didn’t stop. Soapdirt points out at a picture where Deem is seen lighting a cigarette as she lays on a hospital bed. By the looks, the picture could’ve been taken before the TV star had the surgery done. The only excuse she could give to justify this life-threatening decision was that she was nervous about the surgery. Deem has been addicted to smoking for most of her life and says it isn’t easy to quit. Hence, even though her life was at stake, the 90 Day Fiance celeb lit one right before her extensive 5-procedure surgery.
As a result, Angela got loads and loads of criticism for her actions. However, it’s sad to say that she might continue to be in such situations and controversies in the future as well.
