Laura, being without the touch of reality, has been settling for Birkan, overlooking his red flags. Moreover, he pointed out that Laura is not using her common sense and is choosing to see things that she wants to see. Furthermore, he pointed out that Laura was “emotionally compromised.”

Later, in his confessional, he confessed that Birkan was indeed not healthy for Laura. Furthermore, he insisted that he wasn’t the right choice for Laura.
