Brandan’s partner, Mary being a control freak and jealous has now become common knowledge. This Filipino beauty has constantly been pressuring Brandan to adopt her religion. Thus, he will be seen making an effort to know more about her faith and religion. The sneak peek of the upcoming episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way featured the rising tension among the young couple.
As Mary took Brandan to a local church and repeatedly recalled him not to look at girls throughout the sermon. She even instructed him to look either at the priest or at her. The continuous reminders made him trace his path toward a breakdown. He even talked to the camera claiming that adopting her religion is already a huge pressure on him. But, Mary’s repeated reminders were a bit extra for him.
During the conversation he even vents that even turning his head is troubling Mary, he then calls it ‘f***** up.’ Brandan continues to complain that her suspicious behavior has resumed even after talking this through. He added being physically controlled, like who to watch and what to speak, is too much. Brandan continued that he thinks no one could stand it. Moreover, the next scene featured Mary taking him to the aisle and reminding him again to not look at girls and to ‘behave.’ Reaching his saturation point, Brandan soon declared that “It can’t be like this forever.”

The couple has been surrounded by insecurities and jealousy ever since the beginning of their long-distance relationship. The two have stayed connected 24/7, either via phone calls or FaceTime. The idea of staying connected all day long was put forward by Mary but was later accepted by Brandan. These continuous calls have resulted in numerous instances where Mary demanded the American native to adopt some quick changes. Right before moving to the Philippines, Brandan was compelled to change his seats on the airplane merely because a woman was seated beside him.
Mary even demanded to be on a video call when Brandan had once been checked up by a female dentist. There have been numerous occasions where Mary’s insecurities have resulted in confusion. But her insecurities continued to exist even though his partner was sitting next to him.
