90 Day Fiance: How Did Christian React To His Family’s Disapproval?
The 32-year-old London-based model Cleo met Christian nearly a year ago on Instagram. The friends-turned-couple has since been together. Cleo is autistic and was declared a man at birth but later opted for surgery, for she resonated more as a woman. Christine has dated several cis-women in the past and has also been married to one of his girlfriends for a few months. Thus, his family earlier approved of his relationship with Cleo because they were unaware that she is a trans woman. But their perception changed with the unveiling of the truth.
Well, during a conversation with his friend Tom and Janna, Christian mentioned that he is prepared to cut off his relationship with a few of his relatives if they do not approve of Cleo. But his family’s decision seems to impact his decision pertaining to his relationship. He flew to London to meet his partner in person after being in a long-distance relationship for nearly four months. Still, he insisted Cleo not to kiss him at the airport. However, Christian had often talked about how much he loved holding hands, but he seemed to have changed his mind.
His gesture certainly hurt Cleo, but she understands that this shift in his behavior is a result of his family’s disapproval. In another episode, Christian discussed with his friend Tom that it’s difficult not to be influenced by the family’s decisions. He even added some negative comments about Cleo that have impacted his thought.

90 Day Fiance personality Cleo doubts her partner’s capabilities to fight people who speak negatively about their relationship. She even mentioned that she would be heartbroken if things between her and Christian did not end well. However, Cleo has always been vocal about her identity and autism with her partner since the beginning. She still fears her partner’s reaction to her physical traits, for she has yet not got her gender confirmation surgery done.
Although, there have been instances where Christian told her that he is attracted to her and that being a trans woman isn’t an issue. There was another instance where he described himself as ‘heterosexual.’ Despite having a problematic relationship on the 90 Day Fiance franchise, both Cleo and Christian follow each other on Instagram.
