She admitted that she chose Colt in a moment of insanity as she was losing her mind in Hunt For Love. The celeb told her audience that she actually felt like an “outcast” at the retreat, and it was Colt who came to comfort her.

In typical Colt’s fashion, after he comforted Cortney, he ended up falling down and breaking his leg all over again. The latter wrote, “So I felt responsible/guilt.” The therapist said we trauma-bonded. Cortney explained that she felt Colt had fallen after he came to comfort her, so he ended up becoming her responsibility.

As per Cortney, she had thoughts like, “What will happen if Colt becomes permanently disabled?” Moreover, her parents never allowed her to give up on anything when things got hard. This is why Cortney believes she wasn’t able to leave Colt in the midway and move on with someone else.

Cortney then revealed that during Hunt For Love, Colt had told her he was talking to some girls in Brazil and Mexico. But Cortney was also talking to other men at that time, and they were mere friends. However, when they decided to make things serious, Colt blocked all the other women as he wanted to be “exclusive” with Cortney.
