Things were still not too far-fetched.

Then came Lisa’s truth-telling time. Everything from Daniel’s reaction about how he slept with someone else’s wife, to his ranting about how the gods won’t forgive him, started to seem odd. Then came the episode where they visited Daniel’s uncle, who called Lisa an abomination due to her ‘lesbianism.’ Lisa started hyperventilating, while the uncle sat pouting. Fans thought the whole scene was inspired by Nollywood. Moreover, Lisa dropping down to her knees to beg forgiveness was super weird.

Moreover, the couple visited a Nigerian ‘king.’ The ‘king’ looked like a cosplayer with bad acting chops. It is ridiculous to see the network making anything up to add more to the storyline.
