Mahdi and Daniele’s feud from 90 Day Fiance Tell All became quite prominent for the viewers. This escalated quickly when the former took a stand for another cast member, Shekinah, infront of Daniele. That’s because the latter had accused her of using bots to send hate her way. She also went as far as saying Shekinah pays for the interviews that she ends up bagging. It was beyond disrespectful.
So, like a good friend, Mahdi decided to take matters into his own hands. He confronted Daniele about how she knew such details about Shekinah’s life. He then began to say that Daniele was making a bunch of lies to make Shekinah look bad. They ended up having a massive brawl, and things almost turned physical. Drama exploded during the 90 Day Fiance Season 11 Tell All. New star Mahdi Al Saadi clashed with fellow cast member Daniele Gates. The tension began when Mahdi defended Shekinah Garner. Mahdi felt the rest of the cast and Daniele were unfair while attacking Shekinah and giving her a mean girl narrative. But viewers didn’t see the full argument. Well, Mahdi has said that it was no accident.
After the episode aired, Mahdi took to Instagram to accuse TLC of editing the fight to make him look like the aggressor. He said that they cut out key moments where Daniele allegedly invaded his space and made offensive comments. According to him, those scenes would have shown a very different story. As mentioned above, in his Instagram stories, Mahdi claimed Daniele told him he’d have “many problems in this country.” That’s not all. She even said she wished her husband were there. He says these remarks felt threatening and disrespectful. Mahdi believes the comments were racially and culturally charged. The last part of Daniele’s statements suggested she also wanted to threaten harm to Mahdi.
Mahdi also said Daniele used harmful stereotypes about Middle Eastern men. She did so to paint him as a misogynist. But he insisted he was judged unfairly because of where he comes from. He felt she used his identity to make herself look like the victim. However, the newbie tried to stay calm during the argument. He even kept his hands behind his back so no one would say he was being aggressive.
Despite that, he said the showrunners edited him to look angry and dangerous. He was frustrated that TLC didn’t show what really happened. In his final story, Mahdi said the situation deeply hurt him and caused a lot of stress. He called out Daniele for being manipulative and accused TLC of protecting her image. Mahdi says he regrets apologizing during the fight. After all, he now sees how the truth was twisted.
