90 Day Fiance Season 12 is already upto a dramatic start as new couple Ashia and Maxwell face issues. The newlyweds in the new season planned to tie the knot in the US. But Maxwell’s K-1 visa approval proved to be a hindrance for the couple’s happily ever after. What grabbed more attention is how poorly executed Maxwell’s fake visa approval document was.
Ashia and Maxwell’s relationship came about through God’s intervention. Or at least that’s what the Pentecostal Prophetess Ashia believes. However, even divine intervention could not secure Maxwell’s K-1 visa for the couple. Now, Redditors are discussing how fake his visa approval document is. Keep reading to know more about it.
90 Day Fiance Season 12 star Ashia recently opened up about her spiritual beliefs and the special gifts she feels God has given her. She explained that she believes people can still perform miracles and receive messages from God. Ashia shared a story from when she was 12, about shopping in a store while listening to music. She said she suddenly felt the “holy spirit” tell her what the next song would be before it even played.
Ashia explained that she did not hear an actual voice, but she strongly felt that God was speaking directly to her. When the exact same song started playing next, she believed it confirmed her gift. Later, Ashia spoke to her spiritual leader about the experience. He told her that she had a “prophetic gift” and could communicate with God. Ashia called that moment her big realization and said she now understands why certain things happen in her life.
In the latest season of 90 Day Fiance, Maxwell and Ashia are experiencing difficulty with legal processes. The new cast members are facing visa issues; it turns out Maxwell showed fake visa documents to Ashia. In a Reddit post, fans of the franchise point out that the visa approval document looks quite fake. They pointed out how no embassy ever gives a printout of the visa approval. Not to mention, the grammatical mistake stared everyone in the eye.
Fans quickly shared their opinions, with one pointing out that Maxwell printed it at home, so he couldn’t even proofread before sending. Another fan commented on the logistics of the visa process in Nigeria, saying the paperwork is sent when their visa gets approved. Then the embassy sends the visa and passport, followed by certified mail a few days later. But fans aren’t convinced that’s the real thing. Moreover, if it looks really fake, Ashia couldn’t catch onto it, as she is delusional herself.
As for Maxwell, fans were surprised that after Daniel’s drama with Lisa, they would want another Nigerian partner on the show. But fans also believe that the fake document was executed so poorly, with no logo, no address, and was meant to convince Ashia, but they believe their whole storyline is fake. Fans think the couple is on it for reality TV fame, which is why Ashia never questioned it. For more 90 Day Fiance updates, follow TV Season & Spoilers.
