His partner, Debby, believes Mido is famous in Egypt because of all the acting roles he has played. She, however, has not seen any of his work. Mido also works as a tour guide in Cairo, which is where Debby first met him five years ago. Now, fans are digging deep into Mido’s career and social media following, and they believe he is lying about it.

Famous celebrity blogger Alexapomegranate commented on how Mido has a low following on his YouTube channel. 154 followers are barely enough for a known actor. The blogger also analyzed his Instagram account, which had 667k followers, finding it full of bot followers and with minimal comments per post. Even his posts have low likes for someone with a large following.

Mido’s acting career is not false. According to an Egypt Today article published in 2020, Mido starred in The Choice as a great Egyptian martyr. Other than that, he has starred in Cuffs and in Abu Omar Al Masry in 2018. He also got promoted to the role of CEO and co-founder of M O M Golden Pyramid’s View Inn in Cairo, Egypt.

Mido works as a tour guide in Cairo, but he appears in many roles, small roles. His filmography is hardly that of a big movie star, but Debby is deluded enough to believe it.
