Many fans pointed out how Ziad was just trying to find the minuscule loophole to end things with Emma. Therefore, Emma’s Moroccan ex was the best excuse. Now, Emma seems to be leaning towards that ex.

Emma, in her story, shared a sneak peek into next week’s episode. The clip featured Emma in Morocco talking to her best friend via FaceTime. She revealed what Ziad had done to her. Her friend asked the million-dollar question, “Can we just be done with the country of Morocco?” Then, she asked her not to be mad. The next clip showed her ex-fiancé, Mohammed, calling.

An online fan blogger, Alexa Pomegranate, featured Emma’s story on their page. Now, in the mid-season trailer, viewers have already seen this clip of Mohammed calling. Then, the following clip showed Emma eagerly waiting at a restaurant and being shocked to see Mohammed again. Therefore, the fandom speculated that Emma might cheat on Ziad.

However, now it turns out that Ziad had already broken up with Emma. He left her heartbroken. After all that, Emma received the call from her ex-fiancé.
