90 Day Fiance stars Mahmoud and Nicole have been in the headlines because of their unstable relationship. Their issues have already gotten out of hand. Hence, the former ended up behind bars due to domestic violence allegations against him. It was shocking news, and viewers were wondering what Nicole’s take on this was.
Though initially she didn’t address this news, she finally decided to react to it. Nicole took to her social media handle and made some shocking revelations. What does she have to say? Is she fine?
90 Day Fiance: Nicole Voiced Her Opinion On Domestic Violence
Nicole Sherbiny was trying hard to adjust to Mahmoud El Sherbiny and his family. But 90 Day Fiance fans were in disbelief when they learned about the latter’s arrest story on 21st February 2024. Apparently, the Egyptian native had to go behind bars for a “misdemeanor domestic violence” accusation. The entire incident took place in the afternoon in Downtown Los Angeles while Mahmoud was out on bail within a few hours.
Several sources confirmed that Nicole was the victim. But she hasn’t chosen to talk about it on social media until now. The celeb recently took to Instagram and shared a post that talked about “domestic violence.” It was a post from the Musawah Movement, which is basically a “global movement” that stands for “equality and justice” in Muslim families.
Nicole’s post said, “Violence against women can never be justified in the name of Islam.” 90 Day Fiance viewers were quick to visit the page and read the entire caption. It explained how violence is “never acceptable” when it comes to Islam. Apparently, this came after Nicole converted to Islam for Mahmoud’s sake, initially moved to Egyped ended up becoming a victim of domestic violence.
But it appears that Nicole wouldn’t sit quietly. She was quick to report the matter to police and put her Egyptian husband behind bars. Not only this but now she is spreading awareness regarding the same and voicing her opinion as well.
90 Day Fiance: Will Nicole And Mahmoud Still Appear On Happily Ever After?
90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After recently announced its return and revealed that Nicole and Mahmoud would be a part of it. They were going to start a new chapter of their lives in America. Apparently, the Egyptian native traveled all the way to the USA for his wife’s sake, as they both wanted to give their marriage another chance. But before this couple could have graced the screens, Mahmoud ended up going to jail.
After all this, viewers don’t believe that Mahmoud and Nicole would return for another season. It is evident that there have been many examples in the past as well when the network canceled stars because of their questionable acts. Apparently, the same happened with a Russian star named Alina Kozhevnikova because of her racist comments and posts.
So, there is a fair chance that after Mahmoud’s arrest and accusations of “domestic violence,” TLC would perhaps take some kind of action against him. Hence, it seems that the celeb and Nicole might lose the opportunity of returning to the franchise and sharing their storyline with the viewers.
