90 Day Fiance: Patrick Files For Divorce & Sole Custody

90 Day Fiance star Patrick wants to get out of his marriage with Thais as soon as possible, and he has already filed for divorce as well. TMZ first revealed that Patrick filed for divorce in Nevada. He gave the reason for filing for divorce as “incompatibility” during their marriage. Moreover, he even applied for the sole legal and physical custody of his daughter, Aleesi.

Patrick claimed that Aleesi was living with him, and they were in a separate house. He further stated that he was willing to have the possession of the Honda Ridgeline and even the retirement account that the couple shared. That account itself is worth $8,000. As per Patrick’s documents, he doesn’t want any kind of child or spousal maintenance from Thais.

90 Day Fiance: Will Patrick File For Bankruptcy?

90 Day Fiance viewers always had the illusion that Patrick was super rich, with money flowing into his life left and right. But it seems that it was nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Starcasm recently revealed that Patrick owes more than “$141k to a bank and two credit card companies.” As per the source, it is not something that is new. Patrick was in debt way before he filed for divorce from Thais.

If this wasn’t enough, Patrick had many lawsuits as well. The source claimed that he was “sued three times” within just 9 weeks in 2025. Moreover, the result of all three lawsuits was the same. There was a default judgment against Patrick in all three of them. But as per the current scenario, it appears that Patrick hasn’t filed for bankruptcy yet.

American Express was the first one to file a complaint against Patrick on February 6. He took out $28,621.53 on the credit account and, after losing the lawsuit, had to pay back $28,969.63 to American Express. Truist Bank also filed another complaint as Patrick took a loan from Lightstream. He again lost the case and had to pay $85,188.73 in interest, costs, and fees.

Then comes JPMorgan Chase Bank, which also filed for $30,016.32 in 2025. But even after the hefty amount Patrick needs to repay, he hasn’t filed for bankruptcy. This made fans wonder whether he was waiting for his divorce to be finalized to do so. What do you think? Do let us know in the comments section.
