Well, one of them was that his former partner, Karine Martins was a victim of human trafficking.
As a result, Karine is now part of a program that is supporting her financially. Hence, they have provided her with a “rent-free house” and are taking care of all other bills. Both parents apparently want nothing more than to get their kids’ custody back. Therefore, as per Paul, Karine is following all the “guidelines” to make that happen.
