Soon, they ended up in trouble with the law because of domestic violence and also had a restraining order against each other. Due to this, they also lost their kids’ custody for being unfit parents.
Karine has been struggling to gain her kids’ custody by adhering to everything the court had mentioned. But things just aren’t working out in her favor. This time around, Paul made a shocking revelation as he mentioned how his cousin was the one not allowing Karine and his mother to spend time with their kids around Christmas.

In 2022, Paul Staehle mentioned how he and his ex, Karine Martins, didn’t have their kids’ custody. After their major troubles with the law, the court deemed them “unfit” to be raising their sons, Pierre and Ethan. CPS, i.e., Child Protection Services, has been taking care of them since then and has kept them with a foster family.
But a new post on Paul’s social media revealed an update about their case. The 90 Day Fiance star mentioned how his cousin has Ethan and Pierre’s custody now. But she has “banned” them from meeting the kids despite them having “visitation rights.” The family member did so right before Christmas, as she knew courts would be closed during that time.
So, Karine and Paul’s mother won’t be able to file the motion at that time. He further mentioned how they also bought gifts for the children but couldn’t give it to them. That’s not all. The celebrity was so angry that he wanted his cousin to be “in jail” because she had been violating “court orders.” Moreover, he mentioned that Paul’s mother was trying to get a lawyer, too.
She was doing so to find a way through which the kids get removed from the cousin’s custody. Paul mentioned that the “sheriff” will be presenting the cousin with “a lawsuit.” But it would only happen when the courts will re-open after the holiday season. The 90 Day Fiance celeb also mentioned how judges don’t like it when people restrict “court-ordered” visitation rights.

It seems like the new custody situation of Paul and Karine’s kids has been an issue with everyone. The latter is also doing everything in her power to ensure she has lenient visitation rights. She took to her Instagram to reveal she will be doing holiday advertisements on her page for some extra money during the Christmas season.
Karine further mentioned how she would be doing so to ensure she has a good lawyer to regain custody of her kids. Earlier, she had also started a GoFundMe page for the same cause. She is also on OnlyFans and uploads adult videos on a monthly subscription. So, it was refreshing for 90 Day Fiance fans to see her resort to cleaner ways to earn money.
