Audiences met Sam and Citra in the latest 90 Day Fiance episodes. He is American, while he is Indonesian. That is not the only difference between them. While Sam isn’t an ardent follower of any religion, Citra is a Muslim. So, not only does he have to convert to Islam, but he also needs her father’s permission to marry her.
But the US star has been keeping some secrets from Citra. And when Sam revealed them, the Indonesian native was very upset with him. So, the audience really wants to know the current status of their relationship.

TLC star Sam was a drug addict. He became “addicted to pain medicines” at the age of 15. But the star has been “clean” for some years now. Sam uses suboxone now, which helps with addiction. However, this suboxone was the cause of his recent run-in with the law. It can also land the 90 Day Fiance star in jail. But Sam was keeping all this a secret from Citra.
Citra came to the US in the December 3 episode. She got to meet Sam’s father and brother. She also saw how “messy” Sam’s room was. So, she went on a cleaning spree for both the room and his equally messy car. And Sam decided to spill the beans about his recent legal affair while at the car wash. He told her how he might end up in jail because of a missed deadline in his diversion program. And Citra was understandably upset about it.
In a confessional, Citra revealed that it “made” her “angry” that she had lied to her dad because of Sam. She was also worried and scared that he might go to prison. And since Sam needs Citra’s dad’s permission to marry, it might not be possible now.
So, where and how is the 90 Day Fiance couple now? Well, we have some good news for you. Apparently, the two are still together. We snooped on Instagram and saw something on Sam’s page. It was private, but the bio read, “Leave a message for Mr and Mrs Wilson.” Well, this means that the two are married!
Even Citra’s Instagram page has many updates and indications about the relationship. She keeps posting pictures of her and Sam. And the Indonesian star also posted a lengthy tribute for Sam on December 22, 2023. She talked about how Sam “always got” her “back”, and that she “want(s) to spend the rest of” her “life with” him.
