90 Day Fiance: Sam Gets Cold Feet About Converting To Islam For Citra
Sam is doing everything under the sun just to make things work with Citra. He badly wants to marry the latter and is even refraining from a lot of things just for the sake of her. The couple isn’t getting physical before marriage just because Citra’s religious beliefs don’t permit it.
Sam has even agreed to change his religion and convert to Islam. However, now it seems that there are some aspects that have been bothering him. Hence, the celeb finally decided to confront Citra about the same and even asked her to give him some “guidelines” so that he knows his limits about what he shouldn’t surpass.
After Citra explained all the rules and regulations to him, Sam opened up about his main concern. He stated, “My only issue is like when you’re not supposed to do things, then that makes it harder.” The 90 Day Fiance newbie added that he doesn’t want to be a “bad husband” to Citra and doesn’t want to disappoint her at all.
Hence, it was evident that Citra’s main concern was not to disappoint his future wife just because of his addictions.

Citra made it clear that Sam would have to quit alcohol after converting to Islam. She also explained how the latter has to abstain from eating pork as well. However, Sam didn’t seem to have any issues with these restrictions.
Sam stated that he wasn’t an alcoholic or a drinker. Hence, it wouldn’t be a big deal for him to quit all this. However, the celeb has realized that it would be a “challenge” for him to do so. The 90 Day Fiance castmate explained that “Alcohol, sex, drinking, drugs” have been a part of his life, and he is used to all this.
Hence, Sam feels that there will always be a “monkey” on his back that will tell him to break his promise and do all the stuff that he has prohibited. He added, “Just say f-k it,’ it’s sometimes hard to resist.” The celeb continued, “Even after I convert, it’s still gonna be there.”
