Now that the couple finally appeared on-screen, the fandom is witnessing their dynamics.

However, it doesn’t paint a good picture. As the episodes progress, more and more alarming aspects are coming to light. The so-called successful Joshua is in apparent debt. The so-called responsible man went ahead and crashed a yacht after taking it out with a friend, without notice. Turns out, that yacht was his company’s property. Now, Elise cannot come to terms with his concerning dependency on his friend, Nat.

90 Day Fiance’s Elise Benson has taken the big step to fly to Australia to be with Joshua. Since Joshua has a roommate, they had to come up with a proper living arrangement for Elise. As they got to discussing, things took an overwhelming turn for Joshua. He assured her that he would find space for her things. But Elise’s demands didn’t stop there!

She wanted a steamer, a closet organizer, a dryer, new towels, and more pillows. Joshua understandably looked around with wide eyes as Elise made a note of things she needed. Needless to say, Elise’s living standards made him speechless. “Looks like it could be an adjustment,” he awkwardly let out in a later confessional. He termed the situation “very surreal.”

90 Day Fiance star Elise was understandably upset when she learned that Joshua sometimes shared the rental with his female friend, Nat. That living situation didn’t quite sit right with Elise. Therefore, when she hung out with Joshua’s friends, she brought it up. Joshua’s friends subsequently assured her it was a very normal thing in Australia.

However, the explanations didn’t ease her discomfort. She then told Nat that it doesn’t work that way. Later, in a confessional, Nat assured that Joshua was like a brother to her. “I wouldn’t ever sleep with Josh,” she additionally insisted. However, things went downhill when Elise clearly drew boundaries. “I think that he’s going to have a struggle maintaining you and maintaining me,” she stated.

She turned to both Joshua and Nat and asked about the financial responsibilities associated with the rental. That was when Nat revealed that sometimes she paid the full rental amount. Therefore, Elise clearly accused Nat of having a financial hold on Joshua. Needless to say, her statement offended Nat greatly.

On the other hand, Joshua himself doesn’t see any issue and doesn’t agree with Elise. In a later confessional, the 90 Day Fiance star remarked that Joshua had financial struggles and that he had once openly lied to her about his living situation. She also made it clear that she doesn’t want her boyfriend to depend financially on any other woman and called the situation shady.
