Recently, Lisa spilled the beans about her past relationships (all her partners were women), and that’s why she is not divorced from her last wife. Pretty freaky, right? There’s love on one side, and then there’s chaotic revelations on the other, and Daniel chose to still stick it out with Lisa. He complained about Lisa’s abomination ruining his standing in his tribe, but refused to let her go.

Part of it is clearly because he likes all the perks that come with having Lisa as his partner. He has stated in the past that he likes busty American women, and Lisa checks that box. Moreover, he likes that Lisa gives him money and financially supports him. Moreover, the main reason is that after marrying Lisa, he will be able to travel to the US and obtain a spousal visa. He desperately needs Lisa if he ever wants to have a life outside Nigeria, and she is his ticket out.

90 Day Fiance: Lisa Agrees To Cleansing Herself For Forgiveness From Daniel’s Tribe

In the latest episode, Lisa and Daniel visited the chief priest to get her cleansed. As advised, she got a female goat, 2 yams, and some money for the cleansing ceremony. In the older times, they would slaughter the goat, but now they feed the milk to the tribe. The cleansing ceremony was every bit as strange as expected. The chief priest chanted a loud incantation that Lisa did not understand. She wanted to run as it freaked her out.

Then, midway through the ceremony, the chief priest drank some liquid and sprayed it around him.
Lisa knew that the ritual was meant to cleanse her of her lies, but she feared the incantations and worried they might curse her instead. Soon after, he asked Lisa why the cleansing was necessary, and Daniel explained that she previously had relationships with women. Lisa also added that she lied about her relationships to her husband-to-be.

Then there was a lot of incantations, a lot of yelling and screaming in their tongue, something Lisa did not understand. Soon after, the chief informed the group that Lisa had been cleansed of her past sins. The couple had hands as they walked back from the chief’s place.
