By now, nearly all fans of the popular TLC show would know that Sumit Singh’s Indian parents are strongly against his marriage to his 63-year-old American girlfriend. However, in a turn of events, they forced their son into marrying a young Indian girl behind Jenny’s back. When his 90 Day Fiance found out, he filed for divorce. The entire situation left him feeling suicidal. On top of that, Singh’s father had to pay around $20K for the processing of the divorce. Hence, the whole experience was scarring for Sumit.
In an interview with UsWeekly, he was asked about his wedding plans with Jenny. The TV star replied that he doesn’t exactly have a very good experience with marriage in the past. Singh continued, “The fear is still there in my heart, in my mind, somewhere, but I know the person I’m living with is nice.” Moreover, the TLC celeb added, I hope everything will go fine,” and revealed that he is “still scared”.

Well, the very first trailer of the upcoming season of The Other Way spin-off reveals Jenny yelling at her young partner. As Singh said that the situation isn’t allowing him to think about marriage, his American fiance got furious. She stated that he couldn’t go forth between America and India every six months. Well, it seemed like Jenny was giving Sumit an ultimatum. Fans assumed that she might be ready to leave him if he doesn’t marry her t his time around.
However, in the interview, as Sumit talked about his fears for the marriage, Jenny only laughed off on the topic and didn’t take it that seriously. She also discussed that she insists on getting married because she wants to stay peacefully in India. The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way celeb doesn’t want to return to her country and come back every six months. On the other hand, Jenny says that she’d feel a lot more confident and secure after tying the knots than just living together. The popular TLC spin-off is set to premiere this August 29, at 8 pm ET.
