But their biggest problem might be their finances. A new divorce filing reveals the couple owes more than $240,000 in unsecured debt. That does not even include their house or cars. Patrick holds the bulk of it, owing nearly $222,000 to various banks and credit card companies.

American Express, Truist Bank, and JPMorgan Chase all sued Patrick in 2025 for debts totaling more than $141,000. Two more default judgments hit him in November 2025, adding another $20,000. Thais owes just under $20,000 across several credit cards. However, neither has filed for bankruptcy. When the news broke on Instagram, Thais jumped into the comments, claiming she knew nothing about the debt. Fans are now wondering if the couple joined The Last Resort just for the paycheck.
