Mahmoud El Sherbiny and Nicole from 90 Day Fiance recently made headlines because of the former’s shocking arrest. He had to go behind bars, and viewers are still in disbelief. Apparently, this unfortunate incident occurred just a few weeks before the premiere of Happily Ever After Season 8.
But after Mahmoud’s arrest, fans are now skeptical about his appearance in the upcoming spinoff. They are wondering if TLC would end up canceling these two because of the celeb’s recent arrest. Is this possible?
90 Day Fiance: Will TLC Not Let Mahmoud & Nicole Starring In Happily Ever After Season 8?
90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After has already announced its cast list. Mahmoud and Nicole are a part of it, and a completely new phase of their lives will feature in it. Apparently, the couple is no longer struggling in Egypt, and this time, their storyline will be based in America.
But even before the season could have aired, Mahmoud ended up going behind bars. He was not only arrested but was accused of domestic violence as well. Hence, fans are wondering if this couple will still be a part of the show. Apparently, there have been instances in the past as well when TLC didn’t tolerate such things and ended up canceling these stars.
Viewers might remember how a Russian star named Alina Kozhevnikova debuted on Season 5 of TLC’s 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Day. She ended up getting canceled. TLC decided to delete all of Alina’s scenes from the noted ongoing season. This was because some of her “racist” posts in the past started to surface on the internet and created controversy.
The network made it clear that they wouldn’t be tolerating such things. So, when it comes to Mahmoud’s arrest and accusations of “domestic violence,” fans feel that TLC would surely take some kind of action against this couple. Hence, it appears that there is a fair chance that Mahmoud and Nicole might lose the opportunity to star in Happily Ever After.
90 Day Fiance: Everything About Mahmoud’s Infamous Arrest
90 Day Fiance viewers were in disbelief when Mahmoud’s arrest took place on February 21, 2024. This infamous arrest happened in the afternoon in Downtown Los Angeles. The Egyptian native faced the charges of “misdemeanor domestic violence” and had to go behind bars because of the same.
However, Mahmoud didn’t have to stay behind bars for a long time. He quickly got bail and came out. Several sources confirmed that the celeb’s friend paid 20K to the police and got him out. Apparently, 20K is the basic sum that an individual has to pay anyway when it comes to “misdemeanor domestic violence.”
Even online records from the Los Angeles Superior Court also confirmed the same. It said that Mahmoud, a 31-year-old, ended up getting arrested at 1:30. He was then released around 8:40 p.m., as per local time. Some reports confirmed that Nicole Sherbiny was the victim.
After all this, Mahmoud would now have to appear in front of the court in March. So, fans are curious to know what this couple’s fate would be. Keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers for the latest 90 Day Fiance tea.
