Awkward questions are a common part of dating on reality TV, including 90 Day Fiance. Another dramatic setting was just given by The Single Life. Vanja decided to go on a date with Tony this time. Rather than chatting or complimenting him, she asked him pointed questions about his past relationships.
When Vanja started looking into Tony’s past marriage and his strange dating history, the situation quickly became tense. Even though the day began with laughter, things quickly turned serious. It was evident to viewers of the show that Vanja wanted clarity before continuing.

In a recent teaser of 90 Day Fiance: The Single Life, Vanja ultimately loses it over Tony’s confusing actions. His conflicting signals seem to irritate her, so she chooses to confront him directly. In many ways, Tony behaves like her boyfriend; he becomes possessive, introduces himself as her date in public, and dislikes the thought of her seeing other guys.
He still won’t officially commit to her, though. Vanja admitted that she is plagued by the lack of clarity because she has previously been hurt by guys who never really committed. She said that without a title, actions by themselves are insufficient. Tony ultimately asks Vanja to be his girlfriend after understanding her concerns.
Vanja saw one thing right away when Tony showed up for the date: he was sweating a lot. She made a joke about it, wondering whether it was because of Florida’s sunshine or her. Tony tried to impress her by showing off his fiery red car despite the sweaty entry. Vanja simply shouted, “Oh! My God!” in shock.

But once they sat down together, the real talk began. Without waiting for a moment, Vanja questioned Tony about why his previous marriage ended so quickly. To which he said that his marriage turned into a long-distance one, which ultimately failed due to a lack of time together. Even though the relationship only lasted eight months, Tony stated that he didn’t just give up on it.
Vanja felt a little better after hearing his explanation, but she wasn’t completely persuaded. She admitted that hearing his point of view somewhat eased her worries. Even still, she couldn’t deny that an eight-month marriage is totally a “Red-flag!” especially in her previous relationships with uncommitted men. When it seemed that the tension was easing, Vanja expressed another concern.
She remembered that six months before, Tony had invited her to Key West for a work visit. Vanja expected a move from him, and they stayed in separate rooms. However, she eventually found out that he had a girlfriend at the time.
Tony quickly defended himself, saying that he didn’t have to tell Vanja the details because they were just friends at that time. And then he said, “I don’t think I’m wrong at all.” It’s clear there were more questions on this date, and fans are now wondering whether Vanja will keep giving Tony a chance even after this unsettling disclosure.
