One of them is Pedro Jimeno’s mom, Lidia Morel. Evidently, The Family Chantel’s popular villain’s new romance would be a part of the show. 90 Day Fiance viewers have witnessed Lidia Morel playing a crucial role in Pedro and Chantel’s storyline. There have been several instances when the latter’s family accused her of using their daughter. They even claimed that it was Morel who trained her son in order to get the “American dollar.” As Pedro and Chantel have parted ways now, viewers believe that the matriarch has to find a new way without her son to get to the States. Hence, Lidia is back with a new “American” boyfriend named Scott Wern. The couple had met online and has been in a “long-distance” relationship for a while now.
As per the reports, Scott is a 51-year-old man from the States. He is a multi-talented person who works as a “Registered Respiratory Therapist,” a “personal trainer,” and a “high school and competitive soccer coach” as well. In addition to that, he is a hard-working father and a grandfather who loves to dance. It all started when Scott met Lidia’s daughter Nicole’s boyfriend Alejandro Padron first, that too in a gym. Later, the romance began when Nicole showed him a picture of Lidia. Finally, Wern is now traveling all the way to the Dominican Republic to see his love in person.
90 Day Fiance: Lidia & Scott Need A “Translator” To Communicate!
The 90 Day Fiance star Lidia Morel only had one relationship before she met her new beau Scott. She claimed that she didn’t wait for 12 years for a “small thing” and decided to be with Wern because he was “worthy.” But it seems that paradise is not without its troubles. As per the current scenario, the couple has to struggle with severe communication issues. Morel doesn’t speak English, as her first language is Spanish. While on the other hand, Scott doesn’t know Spanish and is fluent in English.
Evidently, Lidia and Scott have to rely on a translator to communicate with each other. This seems to be the most significant issue in their relationship. While Wern appears to be a bit frustrated in the trailer, Morel’s daughter Nicole is not at all ready to hear anything against her mom. She even called the American native a “liar.” Hence, it will be interesting to watch how well the couple overcomes their issues and whether they can last together or not.
