TikTok star Baylen Dupree and her longtime boyfriend Colin Dooley finally tied the knot on May 9 in the picturesque. Airlie estate in Virginia. The couple, who met on a dating app in November 2022, exchanged vows in a fairytale wedding celebration. Baylen, 23, stars in her own TLC show, Baylen Out Loud, and has built a massive following on both social media and reality TV.
Baylen recently appeared on a podcast and opened up about married life. She gushed about her husband, Colin, and how excited she is to share everything with him. It got real fast when the host asked her one question, probably many thought of: had she signed a prenup before her wedding to Colin? Keep reading to find out.
In the latest season of Baylen Out Loud, Baylen talks more about living with Tourette’s Syndrome. She is also dealing with family tension and planning her wedding. In episode 2, Baylen and her mother, Julie, stop for hot chocolate. While they are standing outside, a bald man walks past them. Baylen has a bald tic that she usually says around her dad, Allen, who is bald. Sometimes she also says it when she sees a bald person in public.
This time, Baylen waits until the man passes before quietly saying, “bald bitch.” She explains that she sometimes delays her tics so she does not hurt people’s feelings. She either lowers her voice or waits a few seconds before saying it. Some viewers think she fakes her tics, but Tourette’s does not work that way. Tics are like an itch or a sneeze and can be controlled for a short duration, which Baylen has learned to do after therapy.
TikTok star Baylen Dupree married her longtime boyfriend, Colin Dooley, on May 9 in Warrenton, Virginia, and the whole thing was straight out of a fairytale. Recently, the Baylen Out Loud star appeared on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast and discussed the new chapter in her life. Baylen gushed about her married life, saying she couldn’t wait to “share bank accounts, share lives, share everything.” Even though she earns more money, her happiness comes from making everything “joint,” which is very Baylen-coded.
Then Howie dropped the big question everyone has wondered: Did Baylen sign a prenup? Baylen paused, then admitted yes, she did. Cue her mom, Julie Dupree, sitting just off camera, who Howie hopes will approve of the question. Cue Julie, who flashed two big thumbs up. Honestly, same. Baylen has over 12.5 million TikTok followers and stars in her own TLC show. Baylen’s decision for a prenup is a financially responsible move.
For what it’s worth, Baylen made it clear the prenup wasn’t about keeping score. “I don’t care about the money,” she said. “I just care that we’re united.” Even though prenup talks come with a natural stigma, many younger generations are choosing to get a prenup. The legal document is not meant to question trust in their partner, but rather to affirm a confident relationship. Clearly, Baylen and Colin understand that.
