Is Bosch Season 7 Happening?
Back in February 2020, Prime Video announced that Bosch Season 7 is happening. Along with this news, the streaming giant also announced that this would be the last season of the series. The official Bosch Twitter account shared this news. To this, one fan reacted that they are quite excited that the show is coming back for a seventh season. But they don’t want this season to be the last one. Another fan tweeted that the creators must not say Bosch and final in one sentence.
Reason Behind Cancelation
While an official reason for this cancelation hasn’t been revealed, it looks like Bosch’s story has run its course and is coming to a natural end. In an interview with Deadline, Michael Connelly, the creator of the show, says that he is quite proud of everything they have accomplished with Bosch, and they are all looking forward to completing the story with the seventh season. This is bittersweet, but then all things come to an end. Michael says that he is happy that they have the opportunity to conclude the show.
Who Will Be On The Show?
The main cast, including Titus Welliver, will come back to play the character of L.A. police detective Harry Bosch. Joining him will be Jamie Hector, who will play the character of Jerry Edgar, Bosch’s partner. Amy Aquino will join the two of them and come in as Lieutenant Grace Billets.
What Would Happen Next?
The final season, Bosch Season 7, will take inspiration from the novels the Concrete Blonde and The Burning Room. This season will see Jerry and Bosch as they work on two different murder investigations. There will be a lot of focus on white-collar crime and corruption in the upcoming season. The fans are quite excited about what would come up. As the creators have planned to end the show with the seventh season, hopefully, all the viewers will get closure for the fans.
When is Bosch season 7 out?
Bosch Season 7 was renewed in February. Then the series started production sometime in September 2020. The premiere date of the show hasn’t been confirmed yet. Although, the sixth season aired in April 2020. So, if the show continues to follow its schedule, we might get to see new episodes of the show sometime in spring 2021. While the productions had started in September 2020, the show was later on suspended for a week in November 2020 due to some crew testing positive for COVID-19.
