Savannah has been sharing many updates about her parents’ prison experience. The star has a been talking about them on her podcast. And recently she even shared some of her mother’s dairy entries from prison. Savannah shared Julie’s Cancer scare entry from her dairy.
Chrisley Knows Best: Julie Had A Big Cancer Scare In Prison
Savannah has been giving updates about her parents’ lives in prison. Julie and Todd have been serving their sentence for 13 months now. The Chrisley Knows Best pair was in separate prisons. Julie was suffering being away from her family. So she had taken to journaling her days.
Julie’s daughter Savannah has been sharing her prison Journal on her Unlocked podcast. She had read some of her entries and they were surely a tear-jerker. Julie had written about her time just before going to prison and it was heartbreaking.
Now, Savannah is sharing her mom’s health scare while in prison. Julie wrote that she had requested blood work while in prison but the authorities denied the request. The star then wrote that she was “worth more” to her family “dead” than alive. It was heartbreaking for Savannah. She talked about how strong her mother’s “impact” was on others and she was proud of her mom.
On December 17, Julie revealed that she had no updates, but the doctor called her for an appointment. There she got the shock of her life that her cancer might be back. Savannah read that the doctor told Julie her HCG levels were “high…10.2.” Julie’s HCG level matched that of a pregnancy.
Since that wans’t possible, the level was an indication of a tumor. Julie wrote about falling apart from shock. The Chrisley Knows Best star also missed her husband during all this. She was determined to have her “blood work” and “scan.” But Julie held off on telling her family. The last entry is from Februrary 20, 2023.
Chrisley Knows Best: Savannah Emotional After Reading The Journal Entry
Savannah had been holding back tears while reading her mother’s letters. As a daughter, she was “proud” of her mother. She could see Julie “strength and resislence and humor.” But Savannah was angry at the authorities. The Chrisley Knows Best star rained fury on the prison officials.
Savannah told the fans how the prison tells the family nothing. They didn’t tell Savannah about the cancer scare. They also don’t have the “most educated doctors.” She went so far as to say that they won’t tell ger anythibg even if Julie “were in the hospital.
