Chrisley Knows Best: Savannah’s New BF’s Wife Had Tried To Murder Him
On The Viall Files Podcast, Savannah revealed that she was dating someone. She had said, “his wife just tried to kill him”. Then she made her relationship with the said man official on Instagram by posting a PDA-heavy picture of her and Robert Shiver with the caption – “Sometimes… it just works”.
The Chrisley Knows Best star’s followers quickly recognised Robert as Lindsay’s husband. He was the same Robert Shiver whose wife had tried to kill him with the help of her lover and barman Adrein Bethel. Lindsay had also allegedly involved hitman Faron Newbold Jr. in the crime. However, the police had arrested the three before they could do any harm.
The former footballer has three children with his ex-wife Lindsay. The two had married in 2007. The police had arrested the trio after they had found evidence of the murder planning in the Whatsapp chats. The cops had arrested the three in Abaco, Bahamas – the same location where Robert and Lindsay had stayed when they were married.
Savannah knew the whole story and was completely fine with it. The Chrisley Knows Best star had liked that about him and said “he was too hot to die”.

On The Viall Files podcast, Savannah said she was dating a guy. She had also mentioned that he was famous, “but not for good reasons”. Then, she hard launched Robert Shiver, and fans realised that the Chrisley Knows Best star was referring to the murder plot by his wife. But there is more to Robert than just a ‘murder threat’.
We know that Robert worked as a Senior Vice President since 2009 at Senior Life Insurance, as written on their website. The company is located in Thomasville, GA, where Robert is from. He had also participated in the football team while studying at Auburn University. Shiver earned a three-year university scholarship and was also the team’s captain. Before this, he was a walk-on. The insurance company’s website added another detail – Robert was offered a chance to play in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons.
Robert’s estranged wife, Lindsay, was also from the same university. She had been a cheerleader for the team. Lindsay was also Miss Houston County in 2005 and earned second place in the National Peanut Festival pageant the same year. The couple had gotten married in 2007 and share three sons.
