One can easily classify prison as one of the worst human experiences. It can be much worse for the affluent and the wealthy. The Chrisley Knows Best couple is going through the same experience. Julie and Todd have been serving their sentence in prison for tax fraud.
While in prison, Todd did speak out about the horrors he faced. He spoke out about the horrible prison living conditions and the conditions of the prisoners. But it backfired, as the prison officials might now retaliate against him. And in new news, Todd has claimed that the officials won’t allow her to attend church.
Chrisley Knows Best: Prison Officials Not Allowing Todd To Pray In The Church
As the fans know, Todd and Julie have been having a hard time in prison. He had to face many tough situations, like expired prison food and moldy walls. So, the Chrisley Knows Best star chose to speak out against the cruelties in his interview with Brian Entin.
In the interviews voiced through Savannah, Todd revealed the bad conditions in prison. And now, he might be facing retaliation from prison officials. Todd revealed the officials were also denying him the right to pray. Apparently, the officials had been denying him the right to enter the chapel or the church service.
Todd had revealed that the officials made the “priest” leave in the middle of the service. He also added that they were trying to intimidate him. The Chrisley Knows Best revealed that they tried to scare him when the officials learned there would be another hearing. They wanted to check him for contraband, but they found nothing.
Chrisley knows Best star remained steadfast in his stance. He never allowed the officials to intimidate him. But the denial of church service hit him hard. He also revealed that this was a retaliation tactic so he doesn’t speak up again.
Chrisley Knows Best: Todd & Julie Haven’t Talked In A Long Time
Prison is lonely. And more so when you are away from your family. Todd and Julie had been in different prisons. The Chrisley Knows Best pair hadn’t seen each other for thirteen months. However, fans had always assumed there was some communication between them.
But there is some shocking news. Reports state that Todd and Julie haven’t communicated since they visited their respective prisons. Apparently, the prison rules allow couples to communicate. However, they also need the permission of their wardens. This was where things got tricky. Julie and Todd’s attorney revealed that Julie’s warden had permitted her to talk. But Todd’s warden did not. This may have retaliated to one of Todd’s interviews.
So the fans are in shock about it. They never thought that the pair would have zero communications for so long. However, reports claim prison officials are still retaliating against Todd.
