The Chrisleys have a busy life. Being rich and affluent, they have many ‘money-related’ problems. And recently, one of these problems was a huge one. Todd and Julie went to prison on charges of fraud and evasion of taxes. So, Savannah Chrisley got custody of her younger siblings.
As she was a new single parent, fans assumed that she wouldn’t have time to date. But Savannah is still very much a part of the dating pool. And the Chrisley Knows Best star also has a new man in her life!
Chrisley Knows Best: Savannah Is In Love With A New Man!
The last we heard from Savannah was that she was grappling with becoming a single parent. Savannah Chrisley’s parents were in prison, so the star got custody of her younger siblings. This transformed her life overnight. But this didn’t stop her from finding love amidst the tragedy. And the Chrisley Knows Best star has a new man in her life.
The star had debuted her new boyfriend on Instagram with the caption – “Sometimes… it just works”. It was a post with PDA-heavy pictures of the couple. Savannah announced that Robert Shiver was her new boyfriend. If the name sounds familiar, it is because he was in the news for surviving a murder plot! This is the same Robert Shiver whose wife, Lindsay Shiver, had allegedly tried to kill him.
Besides being ‘famous’ for the murder, Savannah described Robert as “an amazing human being”. But Robert also has a ‘normal’ job. He is a senior Vice President for an Insurance company – Senior Insurance. Robert has worked there since 2009. According to the company’s website, Shiver was a football player before working in insurance. He was a walk-on, earning a three-year scholarship for Auburn University. Robert’s ex-wife Lindsay was also from the same university but was a cheerleader there.
Shiver had married Lindsay in 2007. The couple has three kids. But after Lindsay tried to kill Robert with her lover and a hitman, they split up. Savannah is “so thankful” for Robert. The Chrisley Knows Best star shared that they met when she slid into his DMs.

Savannah had been dropping hints before making her relationship with Robert’s Instagram Official. And then, in a Viall Files episode, the star gave the biggest clue. The host, Nick Viall, had asked the star who she was dating. Savannah said her boyfriend was famous “but not for good reasons.”
Nick Viall had tried to piece things together. Then Savannah had said that her guy “was too hot to die.” And Nick understood that it was Robert Shiver. Speaking to the US Weekly, Savannah recalled the interview. The star joked, saying she had been “drinking lime before” the podcast, but she has now “learned” her “lesson.”
