Jess Duggar recently uploaded a video on her YouTube channel where she answered five of fans’ questions related to her pregnancy. One of the questions from fans was, “What is your birth plan for this baby?” The soon-to-be mother of four then unveiled that she will do things differently this time. Jess said, “Ben and I talked this over a lot, and we decided that we’re gonna do hospital birth this time.” Jessa had three homebirths before. And, the experience of delivering the baby at home was traumatic for the star.
She also revealed how she had post-partum hemorrhage in two of her deliveries. During her first and third delivery, Jessa faced complications. Moreover, she had to immediately travel to the hospital after giving birth so as to get Pitocin. Jessa claims that most of the mid-wives are allowed to keep Pitocin at their home. However, the situation is not the same in Arkansas. Therefore, this time the couple has decided to play safe and avoid the bad situation. Indeed, they chose to have hospital child birth.

Counting On fans are eager to know the gender of Jessa and Ben’s fourth baby. Jessa and Ben have two sons and a daughter. So, which one will be added to the family this time, a baby boy or a baby girl? However, the couple decided not to reveal the gender until the baby is born. It’s also been the tradition of the Duggar family to keep the gender of the baby a secret and surprise the family on the day he/she is born. Jessa and Ben first thought to reveal the gender of the baby to their kids. But later, they came to a conclusion to not unwrap anything until the time arrives.
Jessa knows that if she breaks the news to her kids, they will not keep it a secret from the family. Obviously, a four-five old does not know how to keep a secret. Therefore, the couple decided not to keep the gender of the baby to themself.
Jessa did not even reveal the exact week that she is in her pregnancy. But, the star confirmed to hit the third trimester. Jessa said, “Nesting had kicked in.” Indeed, the star is closer to delivering the baby. Jessa had a lot of pain in Henry’s delivery. Thankfully, the star is not going through the same intense pain in her fourth pregnancy. The mother of three is definitely nervous, but the plus point is that she has three experiences from the past.
