Recently, a noted blogger, Withoutacrystalball, revealed that Jim and Michelle sold their Branson Theatre in 2022. She revealed that they were intially “silent partners” of Freedom Encounter and then purchased the theatre before Josh’s arrest. However, by March 2022, they “unloaded” their property to new owners! Counting On fans were curious to know about the sale amount. But the source revealed that it is not known, as no records are listed for the March 2022 sale. Apparently, Jim and Michelle bought this theatre for around $2.4 million a few years before Josh went behind bars. Hence, it’s not clear if they had profit in selling their asset or if it was a deal of compromise.

As per the current scenario, the source revealed that Jim’s name is no longer even on the venture’s website. Hence, in March 2022, the celeb ended up selling the property to Freedom Encounters Properties, LLC.

Katie claimed that now it is evident that Jim Bob’s desire and attempt to take over Branson has officially failed. However, fans believe that all this is happening because of Josh. A user wrote, “Since it was sold over a year ago probably went toward legal costs for Josh.” Another one pointed out that the Theatre is not the only thing they had to sell in the past. As per the reports, Jim had to put a 1979 trailer, a 2006 Dodge RM 3500, and also 2020 Yes Tandem on the market. They even sold off 5.80 Acres Of Their Family Compound.
