Also, in order to cover up their son’s sin, Jim and Michelle released a confrontation on their official site speaking of how grateful they are towards TLC. However, they didn’t mention the relation of the show’s cancelation with Josh’s child abuse case. Duggars thought that Counting On would continue to go on because Josh Duggar was not featured on the show. But surprisingly, TLC went off the line and decided to go against the Duggar family. As per The Sun‘s report, the Duggar family is losing out $850k a year with the show’s cancelation. The numbers might have shocked you. But that’s what reality is.

Counting On: Jim Bob Faces The Huge Loss Amidst Cancellation

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are the ones suffering the great loss with the cancelation of the show. As per the reports, each family was roughly paid an amount of “$80K for each chunk of filming.” And, the average sum total of the family becomes $850K a series. Well, that was a huge amount. The insider added, “I think a lot of people will be shocked to learn they were earning that much, and it all went to Jim Bob…”

This is known to all Counting On fans that the entire amount was handed to Jim Bob. He then distributed the income to each member of the family. What Jim Bob got and what he paid to each had a huge gap in between. There were often arguments about payments. Many Duggar members even raised their voices against Jim Bob. Well, the same process of payment continued till the show was on TLC.

Jim Bob and Michelle are the ones who will bear the great loss amidst the cancelation of the show. The insider reported that some Duggar members are glad that the show has been pulled down by the platform. As per the insider, “Some family members are glad TLC pulled the plug so they can go off on their own and manage their own money.” However, Jim Bob is pissed at this because he has just lost a huge income source. Let us wait to see whether they will ever get a chance to have another source of income or not.
