For the longest while Days of Our Lives had been putting all its focus on the twisted relationship dynamics of the townies with each other. However, with Clyde Weston’s return to the fold, the soap is touching base with its underworld and mob activity days. But since he is still behind bars, he can’t operate his drug business first hand basis. Thus, he twisted Ava’s hands into holding the reigns for him. Much to her distress, of course. Now, the latest spoilers tease that he is about to blackmail another unwilling character into helping Ava tackle the drug dealings. But who is it? Keep reading to find out!
Clyde Needs A Partner For Ava
Earlier on Days of Our Lives, Clyde had his eyes on EJ to take control of his drug business on the outside, while he dictated commands from the inside. However, he eventually settled for Ava when he realized he could leverage her by putting a gun to her son, Tripp. And honestly, Clyde should be happy he and EJ are not currently on each other’s radar, giving the latter’s new D.A. status. Phew! A bullet dodged there for him. But Clyde still needs to find another person he can bully into doing his bidding.
Ava is running the restaurant on Days of Our Lives, while still having to manage the drug network, under Gil’s eyes. But all of it is not really a one person job! Especially an unwilling one! But with EJ out of the picture, who can really Clyde pressure into partnering up with Ava? Before we get into that, we do have to admit that seeing mortal enemies EJ and Ava as partners would have been a lot of fun! Anyhoo, there is another DiMera who has fallen right into Clyde’s lap with his current predicament – Stefan DiMera!
Stefan Becomes Ava’s Unwilling Accomplice on Days of Our Lives
Newly weds – Gabi and Stefan really have had to face some tough luck on Days of Our Lives. Currently, Gabi is facing a lifetime in prison on accusation of murdering Li Shin. Although, the final verdict is pending. But her being behind bars is enough leverage for guess who? Clyde Weston, of course! If he can push so much weight outside, while still being caged. Imagine the kind of stunts he can pull inside! So it comes as no surprise that Stefan will have to bow to Clyde’s wishes to keep Gabi safe. And that means partnering up with Ava!
Now, with Ava and Stefan joining forces, Clyde has the advantage of casting a wider net on Days of Our Lives. Until now he was using the restaurant as drug front. But with the power doubled, he can also include many other illegal activities. However, all of this entanglement will soon become overly complicated and risky. Harris is already starting to scratch at the walls in hopes to find out the whole story.
Add to that, District Attorney EJ. He has issues with both – Stefan and Ava! So it’s rather easy to imagine that he will try to expose them. How will the duo tackle these new dangers? Moreover, what will their own dynamic be with each other? Could their closeness grow and cause trouble with their respective partners?
