Ever since Days of Our Lives moved to Peacock from NBC, little by little many changes have happened on the soap. Most of them have been in the form of some really integral characters leaving the soap or coming back in. Although thankfully, for the soap, most of these changes have been well received. For instance, fans are ecstatic over Bo Brady and Hope’s return to Salem. Meanwhile, Harris jumping over from Beyond Salem to the mothership is also winning hearts. Speaking of hearts, many hearts broke when Sonny Kiriakis and Will Horton jetted off to New Zealand to start a new life.
Now, the latest word on the streets is that many more casting shakeups are about to happen on Days of Our Lives. Another fan-favorite character is about to leave the Peacock soap. Honestly speaking, this was a name we did not expect to see on the list! It is none other than Sloan Petersen. Actress Jessica Serfaty joined the cast of DOOL as Sloan in August 2022. It hasn’t even been a year, and yet she has made a sizable space for herself in the soap, as well as in the hearts of the viewers. Moreover, she has added a lot of spice and edge to the soap.
Thus, seeing her leave Days of Our Lives would really pinch. A little trip on the internet showed us that we aren’t the only ones who feel that way. A Reddit user, The White Slave, says that Sloan brings life and spice to the drama and must remain on the soap. Meanwhile, Superboy7787 hopes that the news is not true, as the soap really needs a sexy troublemaker like Sloan. However, some fans do feel that without Eric, she has no other storyline. Therefore, she is indeed expendable.
Someone BIG Is Coming Back to Salem on Days of Our Lives
In other Comings and Goings news, we hear that an important female character is returning to Days of Our Lives. However, there is no confirmation yet as to who this character could be. But there are several names doing the rounds that would fit the bill! The first name on the list of plausible returns is actress Patsy Pease as Kimberly Brady. She was first seen on Days of Our Lives in 1984, and the last time we saw her was in November 2016. However, recently she has been name-dropped on the soap several times, and that just raises her name on the list to the top position!
While the prostitute turned therapist would be the perfect character to return to Days of Our Lives, there is another character that would also stir up a storm with their return. It’s been almost a year since we saw Sami Brady on the screen! We feel it is the perfect time to bring her back to the center! Fans absolutely love Alison Sweeney as Sami. Especially now that EJ and Nicole are getting closer, Sami could return to stir up some trouble in her former flame’s love life!
