If you have been tuning into the latest episodes of Days of Our Lives, you must have noticed a change in Melinda Trask’s character. The usually iron-fisted District Attorney has been really letting her hair down off late in Salem! Even though it seems rather uncharacteristic of Melinda to do so, her portrayer, Tina Huang, has been having a gala time acting it out! Moreover, the talented actress promises that as Melinda tears down her walls, more of her playfulness will spill out! Does that mean we are about to get some exciting storylines ahead for her? Tina Huang recently appeared on the Days of Our Lives Youtube channel to discuss her character in detail. Tina mused that Melinda is a justice-oriented character, and she related to her on a personal level. Furthermore, she enthused that even though she lacks certain means, she is still always attempting to fight for the innocent. And it seems that she wouldn’t think twice before turning the tables on her clients if they switch to become the oppressor. So Sloan better watch out!
While Tina insisted that she has a lot in common with her Days of Our Lives character, there are also many dissimilarities. For instance, she would personally never go to the extent of tearing someone down just to get what she wants. However, the same cannot be said for Melinda. Well, we guess Belle already clarified that when she told Eric that the D.A. wants his head on a pike! Tina doesn’t really believe in, “the ends justify the means.”
The talented star went on to praise her Days of Our Lives character by saying that she really admires Melinda Trask. Tina believes that Melinda is very “direct” and never minces her words. Moreover, she just bluntly states what she needs to say. “I love that,” laughed Tina. Talking about her storyline with Stefan, Tina pointed that it has helped Melinda tear her walls down. The gorgeous actress asserts that there is a playful side to Melinda that she keeps hidden. However, in the current story with Stefan, it is beginning to spill out!
We wonder if this is just the beginning. Especially since Tina pointed out that she is having a stellar time portraying the fun side of Melinda on Days of Our Lives!
