The dramatic world of Days of Our Lives is already swamped with many characters, new, old and recurring. This week alone saw the return of four past characters and a new one for short stints. If you haven’t guessed it yet, we are talking about Vivian, Philip, Theresa, Chelsea and Dick Van Dyke’s character. However, we don’t know yet how long these returnees will remain on the screen this time around. But that’s not all! We aren’t here to re-report known news! But in fact, inform that the DOOL canvas is about to get all the more bigger!
The latest word on the block is that the production is about to cast a string of new characters for an all new exciting storyline on Days of Our Lives. According to a leaked casting call, that seems to be for DOOL, young actors of all ethenicities between the ages of 18-22 years have been invited for audition. The casting call states that the actors should be young looking to fit the characters of high-school students. The production intends to cast them as backgrounds and featured-background.
We wonder if the makers are planning to bring in some fresh blood by getting a younger generation on board on Days of Our Lives. While a string of new characters might over stuff the screen, it will certainly bring some new flavors. Moreover, new characters will also open the doors to many new possibilities and stories. Do you think some of the younger children of Salem will get SORAS-ed to fit the bill of high school students? If that happens, it could be a lot of fun!
Furthermore, Days of Our Lives spoilers also tease that actors Colton Little and Christopher Sean are also returning to the Peacock soap. They will reprise their respective roles of Andrew and Paul this month itself. Colton Little had first appeared in Paul Narita’s role on Beyond Salem, Chapter 2. However, the DOOL fans loved the character so much that the makers brought him to the mothership in March. Now, he will once again spell magic on the screen alongside Christopher (Andrew).
