The latest Days of Our Lives comings and goings reveal that Greg Vaughan is returning to the soap opera. He will reprise his role as Eric Brady. Vaughan, who joined the soap opera in 2012, took a break from Days of Our Lives in 2018. Now, after more than two years, he will be coming back to the show.
Speaking about his comeback to Soap Opera Digest, the actor revealed that the show’s Co-Executive Producer- Albert Alarr-told him that they wanted to bring Eric back. Vaughan says that he was like, that is great. He just wanted to know when and what will be the story. The actor reveals that as he spoke more about it and realized that Eric coming back is important. He will have to reshape some storylines that have been affected because of his absence. So, he will come and help them diverge in a new direction.
Speaking about what happens when he comes back, the actor says that his character will just grab everyone who is close to his heart and will not be willing to let them go. He will try to hold onto everyone as long as he can. He revealed that this is a short visit, so it will not be about the quantity of time but the quality of time. When Eric comes to town, he wants to see everyone important to him, and he will be able to accomplish that. Unfortunately, as he meets these people, he will come to know something unexpected that will drive a wedge.
Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Nicole will be thrilled when Eric comes back home from Africa. She will put the drunken night with Xander behind her and jump straight to the bed with her husband. Eric is also very happy to be back home. So, Nicole will think that Eric wouldn’t come to know about the one-night affair since she has leverage on Sami. However, what Nicole does not know is, Sami can just be Sami and not care about anyone. So, it looks like Nicole’s truth will indeed be out.
What we will have to wait to see is how Eric will react. It looks like Eric will be a part of every drama storyline when he comes back. It will be fun to watch Greg Vaughan taking on the role yet again. Days of Our Lives airs on NBC all weekdays. So, make sure you tune in and enjoy.
