Fans would remember, back in July 2021, Kyle Lowder, who plays Rex on the soap, posted a picture on Instagram and captioned it with “Back to Work.” The speculations about him coming back to Days of Our Lives started making rounds. However, Lowder continued to be mum about that. However, now we have the confirmed news. Kyle Lowder is undoubtedly coming back to Salem to reprise his role as Rex Brady.
Days of Our Lives recently released a winter preview that features Rex, and he bumps into Xander and Gwen in the square. Seeing Rex, Xander asks him about Sarah’s whereabouts, and he seems really confused about the question. Rex says that he doesn’t know. This confuses Xander in turn, who yells saying “Where the hell is she” and Gwen just stands by with a horrified look on her face.
It looks like with Rex’s return to Salem, Sarah’s return storyline might also roll out. This will make everything interesting. Days of Our Lives viewers who have been keeping up with the soap would know that Kristen had started blackmailing Gwen. She talked about revealing the truth about Sarah’s whereabouts if Gwen didn’t help her escape the prison.
