In a shocking series of events, the much loved Days of Our Lives star, Galen Gering, has ended up in the hospital. The fine actor apparently had a terrible mishap earlier this month. The unfateful event has left him with some severe injuries to bare. It saddens us to report that Galen is currently nursing three broken ribs. He had shared a picture of himself from the hospital bed on his social media. Sharing the painful news, Galen wrote on the picture, “Life sure can change quickly”.
The Days of Our Lives actor had also shared a picture of the X-ray of his ribs and the hospital report. While, the information shared by him confirmed his injury, Galen did not share any information regarding how the incident actually happened. Broken ribs are usually a result of blunt force trauma and are unimaginably painful. Moreover, the management of broken ribs is a far more complicated process. Unlike other broken bones, they can’t be put in a cast. Thus, every little movement, even breathing, can cause excruciating pain.
